FALL OF THE REPUBLIC "The GALACTIC EMPIRE is gone, its descent heralded by the loss of the second Death Star, Darth Vader and the Emperor. Its remnants have slunk into the shadows on the edge of the galaxy. A NEW REPUBLIC has arisen, but is far from strong enough to bring peace to the galaxy.

Across the galaxy, some systems celebrate, while in others, Imperial factions tighten their grip. Optimism and fear reign side by side.

While the fledgling NEW REPUBLIC engages some of the fractured forces of the Empire, other systems are completely under the iron grip of whatever Imperial faction controls that system . . . "

The system that popularized the D6 System. Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game is a role-playing game set in the Star Wars universe, written and published by West End Games (WEG) between 1987 and 1999.

The game system was slightly modified and rereleased in 2004 as D6 Space, which used a generic space opera setting. An unrelated Star Wars RPG was published by Wizards of the Coast from 2000 to 2010. Since 2012 the official Star Wars role-playing game is another unrelated game, published by Fantasy Flight Games.

The Escape "It is a dark time in the galaxy. The evil Galactic Empire has spread from the Deep Core to the Outer Rim, and everywhere the Empire’s tyranny can be felt.

Many Scoundrels, smugglers, expatriates and fringers of all types scramble to survive on the edges of galactic civilization. It is a hard life, but these renegades have more freedom and opportunity than those found in the Core Worlds.

Meanwhile, in a remote region of the galaxy, several such renegades have run afoul with the FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE. Fleeing three Venator-class Star Destroyers in the Elrood system, the renegades have no choice but attempt to find somewhere off the grid to repair their damaged ship and regroup. As they flee from the grip of the Empire, the renegades try to plan their next move. . . ."

Greetings everyone. I would like to extend a warm welcome to you. This blog will cover the Star Wars setting around seven years after the Battle of Endor. We will be using 1st edition rules as our core rules and possibly have a small amount of house rules added to it.

This blog is in it's beginning stages and will take time before it can be fleshed out into something worth reading, but given time this place should be packed full of information concerning our Star Wars campaign adventures.

Our adventure journals will also be posted here. All of our Twitch stream sessions (when we do stream our games) will be posted here as well. We hope you enjoy your stay and look forward to seeing you in the future.
